Computer Labs

Technology plays a major role in twenty-first century education. The new model of integrating technology into the curriculum means that computers are on demand throughout the school day. Technology teachers and administrators face the task of developing a technology plan that makes the most effective and efficient use of the computer hardware available to them. Whether using desktops or laptops, Macs or PCs, the computer lab remains the center for most computing activity in schools The traditional one-room computer lab has morphed into three common types of computer labs: the classical lab with desktop computers, the mobile laptop lab that moves from classroom to classroom, and the mini-lab located in an individual classroom for a teacher to use in her daily work without having to leave her classroom

The computer lab serves as the center for teaching computer use to whole classes, usually by a specialist computer teacher. Classroom teachers also use the lab with their classes for research, or for creating technology-based projects. Technology specialists use the computer lab for teacher in-services where they instruct teachers on various aspects of using computers in educational settings. The traditional computer lab often serves as the location for networked printers and scanners that are used by the whole school.

English Lab

The school has a well functioned language lab that facilitates students to practice the language via computer-based exercises and activities. The language lab interactive courses provide a very different experience from the traditional system of teaching and learning English, offering more advanced features and functionalities. The lab offers the students a structured e- learning environment to practice English in an entertaining and interactive way to acquire the main language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing.The Language lab has software to enhance the vocabulary and improve the child’s proficiency in speaking the language. It is equipped with computers with high speed internet facility and audio-visual aids to refine the linguistic skills of the students. The lab can accommodate 40-45 students at a time and provide adequate facilities for effective teaching and learning of various aspects and skills of English language.

School Library

The library occupies a very important place in school. Here they find an environment which is conducive to the building up of habit of self-learning. The library is the centre of the intellectual and social activities of the school. The library has got a very wholesome effect on the work of the school.
In a library, the atmosphere is very calm and disciplined. It helps students to keep concentration on their studies. Libraries are the only place where we are free from all convention because reading is a matter of personal choice.
 
A habit of reading can be cultivated. When students get practice in reading and reading habit in the beginnings are made firm and when the student is read which interests them and occupies their attention.
 
In the classroom, the book that is prescribed may not serve the purpose. Some students may not be in a position to purchase all books that they want to read, while others may not find books that are of interest to them.
 
Interest differ, aptitude varies, and individual capacities present a wide variation in students reading capacities. In the library, each has what they want, each goes with their own pace to which his/her capabilities allow him to go. The library is thus, a common platform upon which all student meet on a common level with equal opportunities. It is the nucleus of the school environment, the centre of the intellectual activities of the school.

Science labs

A lab is not just a place; it’s a state of mind. Discovery happens where logic meets curiosity. The thrill of discovery is life’s greatest music. In every experiment, there is a journey to a new horizon. 

Science laboratory is fully equipped to conduct Physics, Biology and Chemistry practical. It is a unique concept that enables the students to explore the unknown. The idea is to give them a dedicated space and freedom to invent, compile, experiment and learn by doing. The laboratory is updated every year with latest instruments, models and other material.
